UV Protection
UV rays are harmful for the eyes. All our goggles are certified 100% anti-UV in accordance with EN 174 standard. Ski goggles are the best solution in terms of protection: They provide perfect coverage for your eyes and prevent any UV rays from entering including glare.
Performance antifogging
The Performance anti-fog is composed of a dual screen with treatment on the internal surface and effective ventilation on the frame to ventilate the interior of the ski goggles. To allow good ventilation, avoid obstructing these aerations with a muffler for example.
Dual screen
A goggle design with a dual screen reduces condensation: the air trapped between the 2 lenses is a thermal insulator. The thermal shock is reduced, thereby delaying the condensation on the goggle’s inner lens. The latter also receives an anti-fog treatment. Be careful when cleaning to not scratch the inside of the lens. Instead, carefully dab the surface to keep the effectiveness of the anti-fog as long as possible.
Cylindrical lens
Dual lens in a cylindrical form. The outer lens is made of polycarbonate, the inner lens of cellulose propionate,. Both lenses are cut to the shape of the mask.
Compatibility with a ski helmet
All the Wed’ze ski goggles are designed to be perfectly compatible with the Wed’ze ski helmets.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The SNOW 300 goggles in Size L let you wear corrective lenses with a maximum width of 135mm width. The foam on the sides and the shape of the goggles leave a passage for each temple.
Strap
Elastic cord made of polyamide, polyester and rubber, 40mm in height, with a strip of anti-skid silicone.
EN 174 Standard
The EN 174 standard is a European regulation applicable to goggles used for eye protection when skiing or doing similar alpine activities such as snowboarding.
Avoiding condensation
Humidity causes the formation of fog. So, do not allow any water to be absorbed by the foam padding and do not put the ski goggles on a damp helmet or hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. That is why you must always dry your ski goggles thoroughly, during the night, to eliminate all traces of humidity and to be able to ski the next day with a perfectly dry product.
